Under the Mi Exchange programme, customers can visit Xiaomi’s Mi Home store (retail store) to avail the exchange offer. While the Cashify app displays an approximate value of the device, the Cashify team will verify the condition of the device before providing an ‘exchange value’ on the new Xiaomi smartphone.
Xiaomi says that the best exchange price will be based on a phone’s condition and current market price. In order to make use of the new scheme, a user needs to access the Mi Exchange page by visiting mi.com/in/miexchange. There, they will be able to choose an eligible smartphone for exchange from the list of supported devices. Select smartphones from Xiaomi, Samsung, Sony, HTC, Motorola, Micromax, Gionee, Oppo, Asus, Lenovo, OnePlus, Huawei, Vivo, LeTV and Google are listed under the exchange program and after selection, they will be shown an estimated exchange value.
To avail the offer, you have to first check the value of your current phone on the official Cashify website. Based on the condition of your phone, a quote is shared with you. You can then head to your nearest Mi Home, submit your phone to the Cashify team and choose a new phone. Once you have an e-receipt, you can go ahead and purchase your new Xiaomi phone.
You can even schedule a pickup from your home, which is carried out by Cashify personnel. In this scenario, you have to pay full price for your new Xiaomi phone at the Mi Home store, and the price for your old phone is reimbursed at the time of the pickup of your old mobile phone.
