Samsung has been launched the new smartphone in its budget J series with Infinity display which is also used in Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Samsung Galaxy J6 is priced at .at ₹13,990 for the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant and ₹14,490 for the 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant. Samsung Galaxy J8 is priced ₹18,990. Samsung Galaxy J6 and J8, to begin with, will ship with Samsung’s proprietary Infinity display. The Galaxy J6 is, in fact, the cheapest Samsung phone to boast of an edge-to-edge screen, normally reserved for the company’s top-tier Galaxy and Galaxy Note devices. The phones also run Android Oreo software, which is a big differentiating factor from Samsung’s past affordable phones.

Samsung Galaxy J6 features a 5.6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED 18.5: 9 Infinity 2.5D curved glass display and runs on Android 8.0 Orep. It packs 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 14nm processor with Mali T830 GPU. The phone comes in 3GB RAM with 32GB storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB. The phone has 13 megapixels Rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. The phone has fingerprint sensor on the back. It offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE and GPS. There is a 3000mAh battery on the phone as well.

Samsung Galaxy J8 features 6-inches full HD+ Super AMOLED 18.5:9 infinity display. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The Galaxy J8 has a dual camera setup on the back, with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth-of-field effects. At the front is a 16-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.9. Both front and rear cameras have a single LED flash. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
