Asus launched its new gaming smartphone “Asus ROG Phone 2”. It is the upgraded version of the last gaming smartphone by Asus. The only change between these mobiles is just a bump of specifications. The design is almost the same. The older version comes with a metal back where the new version comes with a mirror back.
Asus ROG Phone 2 Specifications
Firstly we will talk about the display of this Gaming Smartphone because that’s the biggest highlight of this smartphone. It features a 6.59-inches of AMOLED display. The refresh rate of this panel is 120Hz it even supports 10-bit HDR. Asus claims it will give touch latency of 49ms, which is the lowest in any phone. This phone powered by the latest and exclusive Snapdragon 855 Plus. Snapdragon 855 Plus is a new chipset by Qualcomm which specially made for gaming.
It comes with 12GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. UFS 3.0 is the best storage in the mobile segment. This Gaming Smartphone also comes with the dual rear camera. The primary sensor is of 48MP. The secondary camera is 125-degree wide-angle camera of 13MP. To be honest, I am not satisfied with the comers. If we look at the overall device, it has everything top-notch, but the camera is just an ordinary camera which we get in any budget smartphone under 15K. It also features a 24MP of selfies camera.
The battery capacity of this Gaming Smartphone is 6000mAh, which is again really impressive. It also has Qualcomm Fast Charge 4.0 support. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor. This device comes with all the connectivity options like NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and most importantly, 3.5mm headphone jack. It has 2 USB Type-C ports one at the bottom and a side-mounted to connect some accessories. ROG phone 2 has two front-firing stereo speakers.
