We have many rumours about the upcoming Oneplus 6T, but when it is going to launch? No one has the clue of its launch date but Oneplus secretly revealed the launch date. Along with the launch date, we have confirmed news from CNET that Oneplus 6T will have an in display fingerprint scanner. Also, the Oneplus 6T will have a waterdrop notch on top of the phone.
According to CNET, Oneplus has confirmed the presence of in display fingerprint scanner on Oneplus 6T. This will be called as Screen Unlock, not the in display fingerprint sensor. “We unlock our phones multiple times a day, and Screen Unlock reduces the number of steps to complete the action,” said OnePlus in an email to CNET. So it is now confirmed that the Oneplus 6T will have an upgrade on the fingerprint sensor making it Screen Unlock. For now, this in display fingerprint sensor is available in few devices like Vivo NEX, X21, V11 Pro, Oppo Find X etc. Oneplus 6T will be the first flagship device by Oneplus to have the technology of in display fingerprint sensor.
Oneplus 6T launch date
There is no confirm news available but it is quite confirmed. The official image of Oneplus 6T shared by Oneplus gives a hint. The image features a locked Oneplus 6T which shows date as October 17 Wednesday. That gives us a hint that Oneplus 6T will be launched on 17th October 2018. There is no confirmed news but it has to be the date for global launch. It is also possible that the Oneplus 6T may launch on the same date in India as well. Even the last year Oneplus 5T was launched this time.
Triple Camera set up on Oneplus 6T
There are many rumours regarding Oneplus 6T and the most anticipated is that Oneplus 6T will have a triple camera set up in the rear. This one is also very much possible but there is no confirmed news about the triple camera set up. If there comes a triple camera set up on Oneplus 6T, it will be huge for the smartphone industry, at least for India as this will be the first phone with the triple camera in India. It is not confirmed but we are very much sure about this that it will have a triple camera set up. Oneplus 6T will feature a Super AMOLED Display with a tiny notch on the top. This one is called waterdrop notch. We3 also hope to see a QHD Display on Oneplus 6T. If there are no triple cameras in the rear, the dual camera set up will be there. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Soc.
