Honor launched their new smart band in China “Honor Band 5”. This band is the direct competition of Xiaomi Mi Band 4. It comes with an extra and a new feature which is Blood Oxygen Level Sensor.

Honor Band 5 Specifications and Features

Honor features 0.95-inches of AMOLED colour display in this smart band. The display has a 2.5D glass on the top. The main highlight of this smart band is a blood oxygen level sensor. With the help of this sensor, you can measure SpO2 level. This feature will help to compete with Xiaomi Mi Band. Otherwise, the competition is edge to edge.

It also comes with a 24-hour heart rate monitor. Heart monitor has more than ten different sports mode like running, cardio, etc and it has swimming mode as well, which means you can wear it while swimming to count you burning calories because it comes with up to 50 meters of waterproofing.

It has a special sleep monitoring system. This sleeping monitor will study your sleeping patterns and will help to improve your sleeping pattern. It can give you the notifications of your calls and messages. It has 100mAh of battery. Honor claims it will give 20 days backup. This smart band comes in two different variants & one is standard variant which doesn’t have NFC. The upper variant comes with NFC. NFC will help you to make payments, click pictures remotely, etc.

It will go on sale in China from 29 July. We don’t have any confirmation whether it will launch globally or not. If you want to buy this, you can buy through Banggood or Gearbest. This price of Honor Band 5 is CNY 18 (approx Rs. 18,00) this price is for a standard variant which doesn’t have NFC. The upper variant costs CNY 219 (approx Rs. 2,100) which comes with NFC. If it launches in India officially, it can replace Xiaomi Mi Band 4. Because it has some extra features and price is more effective than Mi Band 4.
