Telecom service provider VI (Vodafone Idea) revised prepaid plans after Bharti Airtel. The Prepaid plans increased by 20-25 per cent, and These new Prepaid tariff plans come into effect from November 26. The telco has increased the minimum recharge value around 25 per cent for 28 days validity to Rs 99 from Rs 79. In the unlimited category plans, Vi has hiked 20-23 per cent.
In a press note, VI (Vodafone Idea) said, “The new plans will start the process of average revenue per user improvement and help address the financial stress faced by the industry.” Interestingly, Bharti Airtel had released a similar statement earlier this week while announcing its revised prepaid plans in India.
